As January 2011 comes to a close, things are looking up. Looking at signs and symptoms of our economy and consumer confidence, we seem to be on the verge of a nice rebound. It has been a long business drought, with weeks and months going by with little or no inquiries.
However, January has proven to been uplifting for the spirits, minus the damn fog. I am looking forward to a bright future, which has shades of years gone by. I am providing a lot of education as well as a great service to residential and commercial clients. You just have to do that little extra and go the extra mile for consumers.
In the yard this month, I hope many of you have got some important chores out of the way. Fruit tree and rose pruning along with the first dose of dormant spraying should be complete. Perennials cut back and debris discarded to maintain a clean garden culture.
As I sit here watching the first rain drops in quite sometime, I am hopeful, blessed and looking forward to Spring. I hope all those that visit here feel the same way. Those considering investing in a landscape makeover, no matter what size, should contact me or other professionals sooner rather than later as we do get busy and scheduling you is very important. optimal planting time is just around the corner and getting a plan on paper now assures an easier project later.
Til next time...
